Yogini Shingoda Flour/Water Chestnut Flour is made from dried, ground water chestnuts. The nuts are boiled, peeled, and then ground into flour. They are mainly used as a thickening agent and also to make batters for deep frying in Asian cuisine. They are the powerhouse of antioxidants and minerals. Water chestnut flour is loaded with vitamin B6, potassium (350 to 360 mg per half cup), copper, riboflavin, iodine, and manganese.
