Mother’s Mango and Chilli Pickle 500g

Vella naranga achar or white lemon pickle is an authentic pickle usually made in sadhays in Kerala. Steamed lemons mixed with sauteed ginger, garlic and chillies and flavored with curry leaves and fenugreek. Vella means white, naranga means lemon and achar means pickle in malayalam language.

Ginger pickle is pure, hygienic and fresh. Ginger is broadly utilized in Asian and Indian cooking. It is prepared by peeling and crushing ginger and mixing with the tamarind pulp and seasoning with mustard seeds.
